More cache due to Hybrid function

To extend the HDD performance

The speed of a regular hard disc drive can be considerably increased by a PCI Express Hybrid card or converter. Combined with an existing SATA hard disc and an optional SSD, the Hybrid function can be used. "Hybrid" means, the data throughput and access time of the HDD can be enormously improved by using the whole flash memory of a SSD as an intelligent cache for the data of the hard disc.

What does that mean exactly?

Now the cache consists no longer of only one storage medium, but of two. The result is a considerable advantage in terms of performance and speed of the PC system. The Hyperduo function of the Delock PCIe cards is an advanced technology of the Hybrid function. An incentive to choose this kind of application could be the lower cost. You can safe money by purchasing the single components of the Hybrid system, because recent SSDs with high memory capacity are still comparably expensive. Thanks to the Hybrid function you can reach ca. 80 % of the capability of a large SSD.
