This USB switch by Delock can be controlled via button or WLAN. With the installed Tasmota firmware, the switch can be easily integrated into existing systems for home automation, IoT or M2M. With the help of the web interface, the USB plug can be controlled without having to rely on the cloud or an app.

Multifunctional application
The USB switch can be used to control all common USB loads, such as USB LED light strips or fans. The data lines are connected, so USB devices such as webcams can also be switched; in addition, operation with power supply units or power banks with fast charging function is possible. For example, the charging of mobile phones can be controlled in a targeted manner.

The switch is not recognized, the button does not work. It is possible that the power supplied by the computer is not sufficient for the USB adapter. Please try setting it up on a power supply with USB-A port.
If you are using Windows, you can try to set the "Setting for selective USB power saving" to "Disabled" under "Power Options". Then the USB ports will be permanently powered.
